This is my take on Jake Long. Let me first say that i loved this guy since last year. But back to my points. Jake long may not be the prettiest pick or the one that will be on madden next year but he to me is the least risk of all the players in the draft. This guy to me says Great player or Very good. He may never be H.O.F but he will be good. Chris Long,Matt Ryan,Glen dorsey maybe the most domint in the league but they are the kind of prospect that could be bust. I am tired of taking people who just may become players. I want guys that when i look back to college i say damn. Sorry Chris long only did it one yar,Sorry Glen dorsey you to short and injury prone,Sorry Matt Ryan i didnt know who u were till late in your senior year.

Second Round Draft- Brian Brohm
This guy could of been top 10 last year. I for one think he is the best QB of the whole class.

CB with play making ability,The guy is a decent corner and we need some depth there

4 Round Pick-Adarius Bownman
6"4 220-Can Someone say Marcus Colston?? This guy has the size and speed to be a very good WR in the pro. He would be a nice partner for Ginn down the road.

6 Round-Jordan Grimes OG-Purdue
This guy is a bull. Saw him acouple of times on tv and said wow that guy is angry. At 6"3-330 he fits the Bill mold. Give him acouple of years and he could be a player. All big ten honor.

7-round pick-OG Adam Kraus (Michigan)
After Watching Jake long i came across this guy. He seems like a decent OG and when i looked into him they say he will be a late pick or Top Free agent rookie. He has the size 6"6 305

7 round pick-Jason Shirley-Fresno State -DT
This guy is a monster but has alot of problems. Acouple off the field problems(was suspend for the year) and inconsistent play has hurt but the size is there. 6"5 325,Draft the guy and if he give you problems you release him but if he is a good boy you just may have a really good player

Here is my latest Mel Kiper Jr. Jr. Jr. impersonation. I am no genie so I can't see into the future. A lot of my picks in the later roounds are hoping that some of those players drop to our spot. Most of them should be available when we pick at those spots though. Here is what I got:

#1 - Jake Long (OT) - Michigan 6'7 315

Can play RT while he adjust to the NFL game and then switch to the LT position for the next 10 years. He is big, strong, has quick feet and great technique. In 4 years in college only allowed 2 sacks and only commited 2 penalties.

#32 - Brian Brohm (QB) - Louisville 6'4 228

Smart QB with the size Parcell loves. He is very accurate and shows good command of the game. Could be a franchise QB in the right system.

#57 - Lawrence Jackson (OLB/DE) - LSU 6'4 271

He was once considered a first round pick making him a value pick at this spot. Fairly quick and has a nose for the QB

#64 - Cliff Avril (OLB/ILB) - Purdue 6'3 253

Another value pick. He is fast and can run from sideline to sideline to make plays. Tough and can play either outside or inside in a 3-4 defense.

#100 - John Greco (OG) - Toledo 6'5 305

A true football player, tough. Not very athletic which is why he is viewed as an inside lineman (dropping him to day 2) but he is quick off the ball, strong with good technique and smarts.

#195 - Roy Schuening (OG) - Oregon State 6'4 313

One of the best interior lineman in the draft and true value pick at this spot.

#204 - Marcus Monk (WR) - Arkansas 6'4 222

Lots of talent and potential. Not much stats because of the system he played in but with his size and speed (4.5), he could be a steal in this round.

Has size and quickness to play DT and DE. He is a prospect that could require some development but the potential is there making him another value pick.

#245 - Jonathan Zenon (CB) - LSU 6'0 191

A value pick. He played in a big program with a good defense on the other side of Chevis Jackson. Has good on the ball skills but needs to polish his technique.

Not bad. I think in the earlier rounds we are thinking the same. But the one guy that i like is EJ henderson. The guy reminds me of a young Joey Porter or a Demarcus Ware. He also has a big time motor. IF you get henderson you can then Try to move Joey or Jason.

1- Jake Long, LT
As shown by the Superbowl, If your offensive line does not play well you will not win games.

2- James Hardy, WR
After watching more video of this guy I have absolutely fallen in love with him. Finding a LG at this pick is probably more important but with Albert off the board it would be a reach of epic proportions, and CB can be found later. This guy has an incredible ceiling with the right coaching. He would come in and compete for the 3rd WR spot with Hagan and Kircus, and it would give us two bigger receivers to go along with the speedster Ginn. He isn't fast but he is good at catching the ball in traffic and using his body to shield defenders.

2- Tracy Porter
i don't think this guy gets past the Patriots 2nd round pick so i hope we grab him here. Fast athletic corner, needs to bulk up and get more physical though. He has incredible speed and catchup ability, and can stick stride for stride with just about anybody.

3- Roy Schuening
The need for a LG is just too big to not pick this guy at this point. He is a pretty good run blocker but struggles in space while pass blocking. He should be playing in between 2 above average lineman in Jake Long and Samson Satele.

4- Jameel McClain, ILB
sort of a project to play ILB in the 3-4. Pretty good size/bulk, is physical, pretty good tackler. Struggles in coverage though.

6- Marcus Monk, WR
Destined for the practice squad his first year. A project at WR who is more of an athelete than a football player. He has incredible leaping ability, long arms and is 6'4''. He times well speed wise but it doesn't translate on the field.

7- Jason Shirley, DT
Nose tackle. Suspended last season for off the field troubles. Has all the physical tools but needs the motivation and work ethic. You have a potential starter here if everything pans out, if not you only wasted a 7th.
