It's time for Sparano to stop messing around, and play Jason Allen. Like he did with Ginn on Sunday, putting him back there to return kickoffs.
The Dolphins have swapped out safeties, cutting six-year veteran Chris Crocker on Tuesday and replacing him with Tyrone Culver, who was released last week.
Crocker, who started at free safety for the first two games of this season, contributed 10 tackles and broke up one pass in the six games he played.
He was responsible for two critical breakdowns in the Dolphins' first two losses, which resulted in touchdowns. From that point Renaldo Hill replaced him as the team's starting free safety.
Crocker signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins in March worth $1.15 million with $300,000 of it guaranteed.
