Whats your dream draft?

Post#1 » by GameTime_3 » Thu Mar 26, 2009 9:50 pm

1st round- #25, 2nd round- #44,#56, 3rd round- #87,4th round- #108, 5th round- #153

I would try and trade back and maybe get another 3rd round pick. But lets say we have to keep the pick.

25#- Vontae Davis, CB, Illinois

44#-Ron Brace, NT, Boston College

56#-Brian Robiskie, WR, Ohio State

87#- Kevin Barnes, CB, Maryland

108#-Sen'Derrick Marks, DT, Auburn

153#- Sebastian Vollmer, L/R Tackle , Houston

I think Vontae Davis is gone by pick #25. He is without a doubt the 2nd best CB in this draft after Jenkins. I think we go with the best OLB Pass rusher available with #25. I agree with Ron Brace with our first 2nd rounder if he drops that far down and best CB with our second 2nd rounder. WR is going to be someone like Brandon Tate from NC or Louis Murphy (UF) with our 3rd rounder.

After that we'll get BPA.

no WR in the first round please.

As long as its defense/ OL in our first 3 picks, ill probably be satisfied no matter what the positions

It would not be wise to draft a WR with our first rounder unless Michael Crabtree drops down to #25 for some insane reason. I believe Nicks might be there with our first 2nd rounder and might tempt the tuna to take him. I would accept such a move if there are not clear NT or OLB.

I wouldn't be surprised if the best TE in the draft (Pettigrew) is there at #25 and we take him as a value pick or a player such as Laurinitis drops there although I still think our 1st rounder is going to be the best value between CB, OLB and NT.
