Game Thread: Brewers At Marlins. 4/11/07.

Post#1 » by Buck You » Thu Apr 12, 2007 12:03 am

Tuesday April 10th 2007

Milwaukee Brewers (4-4, T-2nd Central)

at

Florida Marlins (5-3, 3rd East)

7:05(aprox.) Game Time.

TV: WMLW.

Dolphin Stadium

Starting Pitchers:

Dave Bush- Right Hander.
0-0 9.50 ERA.
Image

Bush has only pitched once against the Marlins, last August, and he was touched for six runs and eights hits over five innings in a 6-5 loss. He has not won on the road in his last five starts. In his '07 debut, he was rocked by the Cubs for six runs and eight hits in six innings in a 9-3 defeat.

Vs.

Sergio Mitre 0-1 1.80 Era.
Image

Starting against the Brewers for the first time in his career, Mitre is in his first season after arm surgery. He pitched in the Marlins' home opener last week against Philadelphia, giving up five runs in five innings. However, four of the runs were unearned.

Probable starting lineups:

Brewers:
1.Weeks
2.Hardy
3.Fielder
4.Gross
5.Mench
6.Jenkins
7.Miller
8.Counsell

Marlins:
1. Amezaga
2.Uggla
3.Cabrera
4.Jacobs
5.Willingham
6.Borchard
7.Olivo
8.Ross
9.Mitre

**No idea with those lineups. Don't kill me lol.
Bush can't suck like he did against the cubs. This game starts in about 10 minutes i believe. So hopefully no one will be rusty. Bush has to go far because our bullpen is kind of spent right now. Go Brewers!

Brewers win, 2 games in one day. Cordero gets 2 saves in one day. Turnbow looks dominant, weeks with a triple and a homer, fielder looks good and everyone else but hall looks good. This could be our season turn around right here.
