Giants come to town, the number one seed, having home-field already clinched. They are also a little banged up, and might look to rest some of their guys
looking to stop the run will be important again, as the giants have a vaunted rushing attack
Allen needs to get after Eli early and often, get the crowd into it
First priority is to HOLD ON TO THE BALL
Jackson starts again, he needs to maintain his level of play from the last few weeks
Peterson needs to get a lot of carries, he wants this bad so lets have him go and get it
This is for the North guys, lets do this!

If this is what Childress coaching for his job looks like, there is no effing way he should be brought back, even with a W. Dear God, this team makes awful offensive decisions.

Re: Giants @ Vikings Noon- For the North
To the band-wagon fans who say, "the Giants were already in, didn't care, played second stringers, and the Vikngs should've dominated" ... It's the NFL. First, Ward could easily be their starting RB, and tha was the most significant position player the Giants were without. The Giants were able to play loose with no pressure. The Vikings were in a must win situation, haven't had their stud middle linebacker for most of the season, without starting all-pro NT, injured starting DE, mediocre WR's, and are using a very green QB who these same people claim should not be in the NFL ... no whining ... no excuses ... made a nice second half of the season run. The way I see it, the Giants are a top seed and should have dominated this injured Viking team led by a significantly inferior QB.
To the band-wagon fans who say, "I've watched theVikngs lose 4 super bowls and they are not going anywhere". Well, you not a Viking fan. You've likely made a choice to jump over to a team who has "won" a super bowl and now call them your team because of it. To clarify, that's called jumping on the band-wagon, regardless the excuse you may have. It's not a gray matter, you're in or you're out. I hope your own children do not play sports and have to deal with you as a parent.
Many Viking posters on the web-site really have a negative outlook on life itself, and are very bitter about any Viking success. The funny part is, these people do pay attention to the Vikings even if they claim to hate them due to past failure, and will be the "first" to proclaim themselves life-long Viking fans if they ever win a superbowl, and the "I told you so's" when they lose.
Anyway, I've heard enough excuses and watched enough Viking losses to often wonder why I bother watching at all, but I'm a loyal person and willing to ride it out to whenever in hopes of the Vikes winning a Superbowl. If they don't, hey don't. It's better than jumping ship - there's no way any human can get on the band-wagon with another team and enjoy a championship like a true loyal fan. Lots of them out there think they can, but in reality, they keep coming around "acting" like real pessimists.

Criticizing your team doesn't make you a bandwagon fan. Sometimes your favorite team sucks, or sometimes your favorite team is good but has significant flaws. Recognizing those flaws doesn't make you a bad fan.

I don't think he was coaching for his job.

Re: Giants @ Vikings Noon- For the North
well it wasn't pretty but we got the win, and thats all that matters
TJax got some good game experience (2 minute drives) recovered from the INT, and i thought he played his worst game since coming back, and we still managed to win so there's that, the giants blitzing all the time, was probably the cause (and we'll see a lot of that from the eagles)
good to go in on a high, defense got run over, but held when it needed to
DIVISION CHAMPS, PLAYOFFS
