Sage for #118 > Cassell for #34 (Vrable is old and all but useless). Vikes would had to send their 1st for beat that. Cassell isn't worth that.

I think a big part of it is cap. Also, you could argue that the pats connection made them want to go to the KC.

I am excited to see a quality vet in Sage. He wont set us on fire, but he could be a positive influence.

Why would the Pats turn down #3 and take 34? Is it all about the cap?

How do you know #3 was offered? I think this is a heavy cap situation for the pats.

^ my mistake... I heard the report that Pats had turned down the 1st rounder, assumed it was KC's.

It was the Denver #12 via the three way offer I guess.
