An attempt at trickery to open the game.

Well Peterson just murdered the Browns. Game over.

I was a little worried going in. Everyone seemed so convince going in that it was an easy win, but it was a road game and 1st game with a new QB. Peterson carried the day, and Favre didn't turn the ball over. Good game.

you'd think we'd be the best 3rd and short team in the NFL, weird. Seems like that was automatic in the Tice era, super physical off the snap line + Moe Williams. We were always converting short yardage.

Shaun Rogers had a lot to do with the short yardage issues. He was in fine form and he's a freaking monster when he's right.

Most underrated feature of the Vikings--the run blocking of the wideouts. Simply exceptional, every bit as good as Pittsburgh's. Last week anyways...

Where's Leroy Hoard when you need him?

Really, Sullivan was getting blown up on short ydg... he and Favre just need to get the transition smooth then he can burst out and tie up those interior DLs.

Pretty much. I remember a game in Rogers first or second year where he absolutely destroyed Matt Birk. Everytime I see him, he's dominant.
