Looks like Sapp to start in place of Winfield then Paymah to play corner in the nickle. Cross your fingers folks.

Travis Kirschke starts at left end in place of Aaron Smith for Steelers so AP may have opportunities to run behind McKinnie or bounce it out to the left like he likes to do. Biggest problem is all-pro SS Polamalu and all-pro linebacker Harrison of the Steelers are excellent runstoppers. Because of the talent of Steeler's pass defense I'd be surprised if Brett comes out winging it. I see Vikes use screens and an occasional wildcat formation to help the groundgame. Brett may see opportunities for Shianco against the shorter linebackers especially with Troy Polamalu's bad knee.
Steelers will try to neutralize Vike's pass rushing with their two-minute offense. Ward and Holmes will test the corners repeatedly as Steelers go no-huddle on offense.

Wish this game was televised. Wouldn't mind catching bits and pieces of it during commercials for the Packers game.

Go Steelers! Boo Brett Favre, etc etc

That sucks, we had it.

Darius Reynaud is an underrated injury, that guy is weapon on punt returns. I hope he comes back soon.

Return to Minnesota Vikings
