We're gonna win this whole damn thing ain't we?

If Favre can dig deep and finally leave it all out on the gridiron over these next couple of months, I see nobody preventing the Vikings from reaching the pigskin pinnacle.

health is a concern, and this coaching staff really worries me. I think that the Baltimore game is an example where our conservative calling might hurt us.

That 3rd down draw at the end of the game was brutal, but I'm hestitant to jump on the Chilly is too conservative bandwagon. He can be aggressive at times, and I think fans have criticized some conservative calls this year that were probably the right calls.
My main concern is what happened to the defense in the 4th quarter, 3 touchdowns in 6 and half minutes is ridiculous. Especially considering there were no turnovers or big special teams plays. The same happened to a lesser extent against Green Bay, we're up 2+ scores in the middle of the 4th and the defense gives up a quick TD drive to let them right back in the game.

Okay, we're looking good going into the playoffs with the blowout win and home field advantage over all NFC teams not named Saints.

We won't have to play the Eagles (sixth seed) but it looks like Dallas may be the hottest team in the first round. I do like our chances at home against the cowboys. Then Packers will likely advance to the second round and give the Saints all they can handle. Would you believe Packers at Vikings for a shot at the superbowl?

I love our chances.

A little superstitious R we?

Yea I'm knocking on wood as I write--especially after seeing Packer nation jinxed themselves talking about their #1 Defense and turnover ratio.

What has me worried is that EVERY wildcard winner has had a good running game going thus far. Our touted running game has been good statistically but inconsistent when it matter most.

As much as Childress seems brain dead at times I see why he was trying so hard to kickstart the running game. As much as everyone believes the NFL has become a pass-first game come playoff time we all know it is hardly the case.
