Was announced tonight that Lincecom will start Sunday. Going to make sure to record the game on my end.

I just hope he does ok. The weight of the world is going to be on him. ESPN will be all over it, the entire Bay Area will be all over it. I just hope he can stay focused and actually pitch. I almost feel a little sorry for him.

He almost went #1 to Kansas City, but they passed, along with a few other teams because of his size, awkward delivery, and unheard of training methods.

THANK GOD!

Lets just hope the Giants D picks up. 4 errors today almost cost Lowry a great game. So when we do hit, we hurt our pitches in the field and when we field we hurt our pitchers by not hitting. Good luck kid.

I hear you.

Two were from errant throws from Alfonzo -- you won't have many errors at all when Molina is behind the plate.

That was a pretty sick lineup Philly threw out there. His velocity decreased by the inning, so he was probably overamped in the first inning. He should settle down in time.

He needs to pitch inside more to right-handers.

His fastball is explosive, if he develops an effective off-speed pitch -- OMG.

Be patient Giants fans.

Phil Hughes for the Yanks had a similar outing in his first start...
4.1 Innings/ 7 Hits/ 4 Earned/ 1 Walk/ 5 K's

Compared to Lincecum
4.1 Innings/ 5 Hits/ 5 Earned/ 5 Walks/ 5 K's

Hughes next start he was dominant carrying that No-No into the 8th with about 7 K's, before the injury. I'm pumped for Tim's next start. These two are gonna be the Aces of there leagues for years to come!

*Unless we get a Prior/Wood disaster.

He's got one hell of an arm, I'm sure he'll do well next game.

Doesn't matter how good your arm is if you do not know how to pitch. He needs to show he knows how to pitch, not throw.

Since 1997, the only guys at any level to strike out a higher pecentage of batters are Pedro Martinez, Kerry Wood, and Randy Johnson.

Finally, the answer I was looking for.

Thanks.
