Look Ahead to Offseason Changes

Post#1 » by Klomp » Mon Nov 1, 2010 8:25 pm

Might as well just say it, Childress is fired after this year. Moss already gone. Favre done. To be sitting with the same record as the Detroit Lions is an absolute joke.

FREE AGENTS - Brett Favre, Tarvaris Jackson, Naufahu Tahi, Sidney Rice, Greg Lewis, Ryan Cook, Ray Edwards, Brian Robison, Pat Williams, Fred Evans, Chad Greenway, Ben Leber, Erin Henderson, Lito Sheppard, Hussein Abdullah, Eric Frampton, Ryan Longwell

Lot of changes happening. If you were Zygi Wilf, what direction would you go with this team. Choose your team direction, hire your coach, sign returning free agents, and sign new FAs. (Note: Nice resource for who are free agents: http://walterfootball.com/freeagentscontracts.php)

The biggest offseason move should be the one to Los Angeles.

Dump all bad contracts: Favre (retired), Winfield, Jared Allen, etc.

Pat Williams will retire, Leber sucks, rebuild the entire O-Line besides Sullivan & Loadholt, maybe keep Hutch but idc. Get our young corners back and 100%, draft another one, get some safetys.

Yeah we need a major makeover.

This is the NFL not the NBA, don't worry about bad contracts. They're not guaranteed anyway. And if I'm rebuilding the O-line, Loadholt and Sullivan are definitely not safe.

Sullivan has more to prove I admit but I'd give him a little more time and Loadholt has done some dumb inexperienced stuff but I'd consider him safe. Let him develop, he's a beast.
