OT: I've been avatar-jacked

Post#1 » by Ryan5UW » Sun Sep 9, 2007 7:33 pm

My avatar was removed for being "too racy" for this site. What a bunch of crap...

I should add use that as your avatar. I'm not laughing at you because of this because that was an awesome avatar.

Gee - I mean, if they are going to ban that, then they should reevaluate all the ads they run on this site...

I had my previous avatar removed for the exact same reason. Doesn't really matter to me though.

Agreed...

I sent the guy a message back just asking why (and mentioning the ads). We'll see...

In the mean time, if anyone knows where I can find something decent, I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Its funny, I got a reply to my message and he didn't say anything about what I mentioned about some of the ads on the site, I guess I'd be ok if they were getting money for my avatar to be on here (it might almost be worth it)...

Well, guess its shut down for good, sorry guys!

Those decisions are made by the guys who run the site.

Personally I don't care one way or another, but I can't imagine getting upset over an avatar.

It's time to get over it.

But I will say what I say to everyone who has a complaint about realgm.
It's easy to start a message board. Tons of software out there, much of it free. Start one up and you can make all of your own rules.

Well starting a thread complaining about something usually means the op is upset ;)

I can see where someone might think that.... I started this thread as more of a joke than anything else, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little disappointed....

Anyway, I'm done with it, go Brewers!

Aww he's so cute. Have you named him yet? I'd personally go with Ted but you can choose.

Not sure, Ted is a pretty good name and I think it would fit, but its also pretty close to Ned.

Any other ideas?
