What do they do next? Try to kill the drive now that was entering the redzone regions by throwing it behind the line of scrimmage to cook. Why stop throwing to forward moving routes? Why?

No they aren't. The Vikings weren't throwing to routes beyond the line of scrimmage until 6 minutes left in the first half. Any route that was targeted beyond it was a static curl target maybe 3 to 4 yards out. The very minute they start calling passes to targets on the move 5-10 yards out they march right down the field. They chose not to until 6 minutes left and down ten points. Sad football coaches.

Pats hit numerous small passes in the 5-7 yard range. It's really sad when you can't even keep up with that. Vikings' version of that is behind the line of scrimmage.
