lets say that no. 4 does hang it up, where does that leave the vikings?
i think we are still a pretty good team, (as reporters have said tjax led this team to 10 wins pre-favre). defense is pretty good but there are injury concerns throughout (which were going to be there with favre anyway)
but offense is where things will change. the pace will obviously be more methodical, i don't think that any qb we have now can run the offense like favre ran it. we still have tons of weapons though. peterson will be leaned on more i think (which makes solving his fumblitis a pressing issue) but i really like toby at the backup spot, i think he will have a larger impact than expected
the division has improved quite a bit, i think we will contend (maybe win with some breaks) but probably will be after a wild card spot

Re: (Potential) Team without Favre
Without Farve this is still a 9 win team... considering we have a tough schedule and GB has a powder puff schedule.. i'd expect to give up the NFC North crown, and get a wild card playoff spot...
We'll go back to move of a running team, between AD and Gerhart

Re: (Potential) Team without Favre
we'd be back to where we started before Favre, NFC title game potential vs super bowl potential w/ Favre. Team is getting a little bit old too.
