Just saw the headline. That would be shocking if this actually happens. As a Vikings fan I love it. Moss, Rice and Harvin would be deadly for Favre.

Rice is a free agent too. I don't think you can bring back both, although that would be awesome.

It's kind of funny that in 5 years on other teams, Randy never played against us. He was two weeks away.

If we're not going to extend both, I'd probably rather wait until the offseason before choosing but you're right that waiting with Moss might cause issues. I'd probably be willing to extend Moss just to save the season.

Money shouldn't be an issue. Berrian has already been paid all his guaranteed $, so he's gone next year and his 6+m goes to Rice. Favre retires and his 20m is split between Moss (8 or 9) and new QB like McNabb (11 or 12).. AD should get an extension but that should come after the cba talks.
