Moss Waived

Post#1 » by Klomp » Mon Nov 1, 2010 7:29 pm

The Minnesota Vikings waived wide receiver Randy Moss Monday, NFL Network's Michael Lombardi reports.

Moss did not fly back to Minnesota with the team following a 28-18 loss to the New England Patriots Sunday, according to Lombardi.

Moss, acquired by the Vikings in a trade with the New England Patriots following Week 4, appeared in just four games with Minnesota in 2010, catching 13 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns.

Proof that we are a joke state with joke sports franchises. We are a hot mess, this team is littered with issues from the ground up. We freaking threw away a 3rd round pick for nothing! We waive Moss after 2 or 3 weeks? How the hell do you trade a pick for a guy you aren't going to hang on to? Heads are going to roll and someone is losing their job over this.

All things considered it is really funny. Just a really poorly run franchise right now. The great news, this takes a lot of heat off of David Kahn, he's sitting pretty in his office right now compared to this crap.

I guess Berrian's role will be increased. He can go from dropping 2 passes a game to dropping 5.

Winner!

When's Sid coming back? Percy was really benefiting from Moss on the other side, now what will he do?

WoW I'm a diehard Viks fan. This can't be true can it? Moss is an elite level talent he gets covered like very few do giving looks to other players that they just wouldn't get. He effects the game without even catching a single pass ...... they just traded for him 2-3weeks ago giving up a 3rd round pick and to wave him when you know Rice is only a few weeks away from coming back and having AP, Moss, Rice and Harvin they can't cover all them. All I seen from Moss is helping other WR's and trying to learn this offense. This is a Childress problem first and foremost he needs to be let go. From problems with players to all the penalties the team has to his poor calls he just needs to be let go simple as that.

OMG as a Lions fan I feel pretty good about the way my team is run in comparison.

I'm sure you guys are P.O.ed and you have every right. They may as well cut Favre too.

This is just the beginning of whats to come. Moss gone now. Favre retiring. Soon Childress will be fired. Half our defense is free agents. This will be an interesting offseason. And the offseason started a while ago.

Childress has cost us games what he doesn't realize is both Favre and Moss are hardcore competitors and want to win no matter what. The writing was on the wall vs GB when they had the ball on their 40-50yd line and let the clock run out over taking a few shots down field they showed Farve and Mosses face and it was priceless.

The Vikings are a train wreck. Always have been. Every year I feel glad that I've never jumped on that bandwagon. "In the 3rd round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Vikings select NO ONE because they're dumbasses." Gotta love it.

I hope that once Chlly is gone, we make sure not to lose our D Coordinator like when we let Tomlin go. Maybe Rice will be back soon, so they felt Moss was expendable? (The problem with that logic being that Moss isn't expendable).

I don't even think it's worth bringing back Sidney this season. Just let him sit this season out and be ready next yr.

Poor Percy has to do everything. WR, KR, RB. Whats next, CB?
