Carson Palmer?

Chris Mortenson reports Carson Palmer will ask to be traded this offseason. I think if we made a move for him, he could be a good bridge QB and mentor to Joe Webb and/or a rookie QB if we draft one. BUT would this be a better move than going after Vince Young? It will be interesting to see what direction Frazier will go to aquire a true starting QB.

I'd rather have Vince Young. Palmer saying he might retire if he doesnt get a trade is bush league. I want somebody who can make plays out of the pocket anyways because our O line is garbage

I agree with Devilz, I don't think we would be interested in Carson Palmer anyway unless we got him for a bag of chips and I don't see the Bengals doing that.

The Minnesota Vikings do not appear to have any interest in Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young at this time, reports Sid Hartman, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Doug Farrar tweets from the Senior Bowl on Jan. 25th
Vikings very quick to talk with Ponder and Dayton after pm practice.
Vikings rep talking to Jake Locker after morning practice.

I think he meant to say Andy Dalton from TCU, not Dayton.

Mike Brown is the worst owner in the NFL, maybe in all sports so I don't blame Palmer 4 wanting out. Corey Dillon once said he'd rather flip burgers at mcdonald's than to play for the bungholes. Carson might retire cause Brown is an idiot, which might be an insult to idiots worldwide  He don't wanna even trade Palmer for draft picks, he didn't wanna trade Chad Ocho to the tradeskins in 2008 for a 1st & another high round draft pick. He loves to hold people hostage :( . Not only does Carson don't wanna be in the nasti natti, but the fans want him gone also. Doing the same thing expecting different results, 20 years & 0 playoff wins for his beliefs :P

So Frasier said they have a short list of vetern QB's who they would be interested in assuming the QB accepts being a simple stop-gap/mentor to Webb/Ponder and the lockout goes long enough where the young QB's simply dont have enough burn with the playbook.
