I read a quote from Ponder saying that he knew he could be a franchise qb; I wish that could be true. All I really wanna see out of this game is how our rookies perform and josh Robinson. Would also like to see Michael Mauti out there and maybe even Gerald Hodges but I know it won't happen.

i guess he's the franchise by default at this point

have they given up on freeman or does he need more time to recover from the concussion/learn the playbook?

I don't know if it's a good thing, but I always enjoy a win even if it hurts our draft position.

Enjoyable watch on national TV. Glad we didn't get embarrassed.

i'm always glad when we win

and i figure that this year we should be happy when we win, because it probably won't happen a lot and we're going to get a good pick at this rate anyway - might as well enjoy what we can

like i'm enjoying the revolving door at the qb position (don't like the injuries obviously), i'd like all three to be healthy and then we just randomly rotate them all in

Ponder played alright. Once he gets that first int out of the way he plays much better. Need more cordarrelle Patterson! Also what's with Freeman not playing?

I'm starting to wonder if something is up with Freeman. Maybe the Vikings have seen something behind the scenes they don't like.

yeah something has to be up, unless getting a concussion while your trying to learn a playbook really sets back the time table

Well concussions have been directly linked to academic performance, so that could really be the case.
