I was driving by the stadium on 35W this weekend and saw they had already added the "US BANK STADIUM" sign to the building.

I'm thinking the building needs a nickname. Something that applies to the Vikings and Minnesota as a whole. I was thinking of something like "The Glacier" or "The Iceberg." Just throwing those out there.

Anybody else have any ideas or should it be left as-is?

too bad the gophers stole the bank. i wonder how long before i stop calling it the metrodome. i've been meaning to drive by and see the sign but the only time i've ever that way is on the way home from work and i always get off i-94 before then to miss traffic

I like that one a lot. Fans could be the Wildlings in the North. Maybe tie that in with the hockey team somehow? Possiblities are endless.
