2017 season game thread

Post#1 » by hermes » Sat Sep 9, 2017 1:15 pm

better get this up and going

week 1: monday night (first game at least) at home against the saints

you can say that i am very worried for this game, i don't know if the offense can score points which is especially troubling going against a drew brees led team - and that's even assuming the defense is great against and slows the saints down. which i'm not convinced will be the case with the way they looked

and there is the adrian factor. he's coming in with a monumental chip on his shoulder and we've learned that a motivated ap is a dangerous ap - i think he could run all over us

i hope we'll win but i'm preparing myself for it to get ugly

Bradford looked like a machine out there. I'm not sure the Saints are any good but it's nice to get the win.

We'll see after Sunday against the Steelers. Early test to begin the season.

But I DO like what I saw tonight

If we can get consistency from the offensive line, I think we'll be pretty good, but I need to see more than one game. Bradford is pretty freakin good if he's not under pressure.

do they have any timetable on bradford?

looks like we won't be able to do anything on offense without him

There doesn't seem to be anything clear at this point. He could play next week, he could be out for 6 weeks. Case Keenum is a guy who has his moments. I'd expect against lesser defenses, if he gets some pass protection, he'll look all right. I think we need Bradford if we want to beat any playoff teams though.

wow, looked great today

hopefully we can keep that going, throwing the ball around to diggs and thielen (who are both very good), and then later in the game things just open up for cook and he racks up yards

Bradford out again. Case is capable of giving a quality game or two, but it's a problem if he's going to have start more than 2 or 3 games. Then there's the problem of the long term decision at QB.
