we won! defense was lights out, i don't know why i always seem to underrate our defense - i know they are really solid but i think they've been a step or two (or more) above that for a while and i just don't give them enough credit

maybe its because they aren't super flashy about it. they just get the job done. good to see barr back making plays everywhere

and everything i said about the defense above goes for everson griffen too, he's amazing and doesn't get enough credit for it (from me or others)

Defense looked amazing, really loved Barr's activity level this game. The dude was freaking flying around yesterday and was just everywhere. Griffen is just a beast of an outside rusher and teams just cant run on Joseph, reminds me of the Williams Wall days with Jared Allen coming off the edge.

Cant wait to get Diggs back, he really opens up the offense and Im still pretty excited about Treadwell's potential. Just dont know what is going to happen with the QB situation even though Case has done a good job filling in as a 3rd string guy. I just cant see giving a long term contract to Bradford at the end of this year and I dont think Teddy is a franchise guy either.

At this point, I think we try to bring Teddy back on possibly more of a "prove it" shorter term type contract. Then either bring back Case as the backup and/or draft someone in the middle rounds.
I'm assuming Bradford is gone unless he can come back this season and show something.

thought from a guy at work: go after kirk cousins and let both teddy and bradford go (can keep case, he's a good backup)

either way its going to be a really interesting decision

I can't argue with Cousins but I do think Zimmer and Spielman both really like Teddy as a person and depending how he looks the rest of the season, they probably would like to give him another chance.

oh yeah, teddy's the nicest and everyone here likes him. if there is even a glimmer of hope he can return to form he's coming back

I hope he doesn't appeal. Just serve the suspension while we play against Cody Kessler or DeShone Kizer.

thought he saw that he did appeal but it was denied, might not be right on that

but yeah, hopefully we can skate by this week without all hands on deck

It looks like we’re finally pulling ahead. This hasn’t been a fun game for me, just too much fear of losing a game we can’t lose.

yeah couldn't start enjoying that until late in the second half.

not to heal/rest up during the bye week before a real tough stretch. will be interesting to see how the qbs continue to shake out (just stick with case, he's doing fine - we don't need a world beater back there with this defense)

I'm not quite sure what to expect from Teddy, so I would probably be hesitant to pull Case unless he falters if Teddy is the replacement. I probably want at least 2-3 more weeks before I consider starting him. If Sam comes back after the bye healthy, it's a tougher call.

Looking at the standings, we're in good position regarding the division, but there seems to be a lot of teams contending for the wild card. The Rams are 5-2, Carolina is 5-3, Cowboys and Falcons are 4-3. Probably our best bet to make the playoffs is winning the division.

have we heard anything about sam since the bears game? feels like he's gone under ground or something

there is a very large 'middle' in the nfl this year, tie breakers are going to be huge i think

I don't think Sam has practiced since the Bears game, it doesn't look very promising to me.
