Who is worthy?

Post#1 » by fame » Mon Apr 2, 2007 4:52 am

As you can see from my lineup I have glaring holes. Only 1 closer, 1 catcher, 1 shortstop, and 1 2nd baseman. I'm also low on steals. My problem is that most of my guys are not worthy of dropping, and it's impossible to do a proper trade with any of the guys in my leauge.

5x5 head to head 10 team

C Russell Martin
1b Lyle Overbay
2b Robinson Cano
ss Carlos Guillen
3b Miguel Cabrera
of Vlad Guerrero
of Jeff Francouer
of J.D Drew
ut Garret Atkins
bn Adam Laroche
bn Adrian Gonzalez
bn Willy Taveraz

sp Roy Oswalt
sp Brandon Webb
rp Takashi Saito
rp Chuck James
p Ben Sheets
p CC Sabathia
p Chris Young
bn Dave Bush
bn Scot Olsen

Now the free agents include:

Barry Bonds
Alex Gordon
Adam Wainright
Salomen Torres
David Weathers
Brad Hawpe
Ian Kinsler
Marcus Giles
Stephen Drew
Joel Zumaya
Dan Wheeler
Scot Shields

Are any of these guys worthy of a pick up and if so for who?

Alex Gordon, Stephen Drew and Ian Kinsler are real nice.

I'd try to trade some of those first basemen for a solid OF.

Thanx for the advice. I tried too, but these guys are ridiculous trading partners. They base everything of O-Rank cause there new to this. So the fact the all my 1b are 100+ o rank they dont carry good trade value for these guys.

Also I forgot to ask. Who to start out of my 1b and of?

There's absolutely no reason Drew, Hawpe and Kinsler should be on the wire in a 10 man league.
