I strongly disagree with most of that article. But, I guess that is just an outsiders perspective. Especially on Jackson. Is he really ready, no one knows. But he has shown a lot these last two preseason games and has developed exponentially during training camp. I have also read that he has had members of the team over to his house for barbecue and whatnot throughout the offseason. He is trying to do what he needs to do to lead this team in a difficult time. But to knock him on pocket sense and poise. What qb has spectacular pocket sense or poise during the beginning of their first starting season. He definitely has more than zero. Game time teaches those things anyway, not practice. And still, the coaches have been throwing blitzes at him during 11 on 11 all through training camp. I look forward to this season and I believe that this team is going to shut a lot of skeptics up.

I think Jackson is more accurate than the article gives him credit for. He's always had a high completion percentage in the preseason. He does needs to prove that he can read defenses and maintain poise in the pocket when the games matter. I'll give him time, though. I have no reason to believe he won't improve.

He has never been in a game that mattered. Even the two games last season, that no one should base his skill level off of. Once he is put in that position at the beginning of the season, we will be able to witness the skills that he does obtain. But no one can really say that he has zero pocket sense and poise because he has shown more in the preseason games than this article gives him credit for. I really don't believe that this writer even watched either preseason game.

Does anybody really believe that one individual could have the knowledge and/or time to give an accurate analysis on all of the NFL teams. I think that it is tasteless on behalf of RealGM to add an analysis for every team when they are all written by one person. In order to provide an accurate analysis of one given team, one needs to spend time critiqueing the gametime stats as well as the actual games. There is no possible way that one individual could do that for all the NFL teams.

It should not be hard for the Vikings to beat these expectations!

5-11 seems about right to me. I really hope that Troy can strech the field and catch some deep balls this year.

Or schedule is tough. If it was not so tough I would say 7 wins. I have some hope because of our defense and run game. I could see 11 if our passing is at least average
