We got a new receiver. Robert Ferguson. What do you guys think of him?

Not impressed by him, he had his opportunities in GB and didn't take advantage.

I dunno. He had some nasty injuries. (remember the hit?) and Farve has slipped. I think he fits better in the short pass WCO than whatever spread they are running.
I dunno. If he stays healthy he has good hands, and good size. Sharper seems to be a fan of him. He is really thick.

He could help with the return game also. Not saying he is a savior but is the type of player I was hoping for. Someone that has had some bad luck/injuries but has legit talent and we can bring them in and see what they can give. On Madden I did it with Gaffney.

I think that he will help Jackson and the receiving corp significantly. Should be exciting. Makes me look forward to the Green Bay games even more than before. He will want to play his heart out against them.

I still hope and expect Williamson to break out this year. Even if the receiving corp flops, hopefully we can rely on our running game.

At least the receiving core has potental to be exciting.
Rice is big with nice hands and could be a stud
If Twill can catch holy crap. His speed is begging for TAC. There is reasons this kid was drafted so high. He is our biggest x-factor. The run game improves if he can catch
Shanko..Who knows? But it will be fun.
Wade seems like a good guy on and off the field.
Fergie has potential. The big thing is he has experience with our off coord. DBev has seen more of him than any of us have and he was a big push to getting him. That says alot

I expect a lot from Williamson, also. He has devoted himself to improving and I expect him to do very well and be the Vikes #1 receiver. When at the Nike training facility, I guess he caught over 10,000 balls or something like that. They worked him with those new contacts. I hope they show a closeup of him this year. I guess the contacts are blood red and Troy said in an interview that they look cool.

We've had good luck with ex-Packers, and we can use all the recieving help we can get. Good pickup.

I don't expect much from Ferguson, but I do think he's an upgrade over Cortez Hankton and co. I wonder how many WR's we'll be keeping this year, and who ends up getting cut.

Any options for WRs right now would be welcome.
