The Vikings defense has scored four touchdowns this preseason, including three in last week's 37-20 victory over the New York Jets. If that unit played offense, that production would be tied for eighth in the league after two games.

Sharper said, "Our mentality as a defense is that we want to dominate. Along with dominating comes scoring on defense. The top defenses, when you look at it the last 10 years, they always lead the league in caused turnovers and also scoring defense. So if we can score by turnovers, we think that we'll be one of those top defenses." He will get no argument from the Jets.
