I like Rice fine but Peterson is a far superior player at this point. I'll be happy if Rice turns into a solid starter.

I lieke the fact that he keeps showing up making the right play. He'll be starting no later than next season.

He seems to be pretty good at adjusting to the ball in the air. I think he'll be starting by the end of the year.

I'd be surprised if he wasn't starting by the bye week. He's probably got the best hands of any of our receivers, adjusts well, and he seems to be a good blocker, if his block on Peterson's TD is any indication. On a sidenote, I like that AD went out of his way to give Rice credit when asked about his TD. Classy guy.

Rice is what Rice is.

great hands, great size, adjusts to the ball very well and jumps high.

But

He is young, his strength is a weakspot if a strong corner bullys him he is not going to get open. he gets pushed off his spot way too easy. Also, his route running is very poor also. Right now he needs polish and needs to hit the weight room.

All those things will come in time. The kid is only 20. I think he's got the makings of being a great receiver. He's fast, long and does a great job adjusting to the ball in the air, which is huge for a guy his size.

I'm happy with our draft, 3 potential starters in our first 3 picks. Between AD, Rice, and McCauley hard to think of a better draft in recent memory.

Greenway/TJax/Ryan Cook/Ray Edwards/

4 possible starters./

Point remains we have been drafting very well/

Cedric Griffin. That's 5 actual starters.

I think the strength/route running issues are slightly overblown. I also think that despite these issues, he still might be our best WR.

The reason I like Rice is because he reminds me of Owens without the attitude for some reason. Maybe it is his size? Any else care to elaborate?

Good point on last years draft.

Kinda forget about that stuff especially with Greenway didn't play a down last year. I'm LOVING Ray Edwards, but honestly i think that Ryan Cook is a BUM..! he was a Center in College and is being forced to play out of position, not to mention he cant hold his water, dude got way too many procedure penalties last week.

He will be a great receiver all he needs is a chance.

Apparently, Sidney had never seen snow before, and he wanted someone to take him to the game today because he was afraid to drive in it. Classic.

Yeah. It sounded like he was more afraid of Ice though. I think they said he talked about getting taken there in the future when it snows. (Didnt sound like it was today?) But they did say he remote started his car from inside the hotel because of the cold.

Well it's nice to have a receiver that can actually catch the ball, unlike a certain first round selection.
