296 yards for a ROOKIE is crazy!

Most rushing yards for a rookie in a season: Eric Dickerson in 1983 when he had 1,808 for the L.A. Rams (on 390 attempts for 4.6 YPC and 18 TDs).

Most rushing yards for anyone in a season: Eric Dickerson in 1984 when he had 2,105 for the L.A. Rams (on 379 attempts for 5.6 YPC and 14 TDs).

AD has 1,036 rushing yards on 158 carries for 6.6 YPC and 8 TDs through 8 games. He's on par to break the rookie record and could potentially break the all time season record.

Can you say MVP? I can. Today marks the beginning of the "AD for MVP" bandwagon

Yeah too bad Peterson didn't get 300 yards on the Fraudgers:evil: . That woulda made my day. Tired of them getting forced down my throat every NFL week in SoCal. CBS is considered Charger Broadcasting Station where I reside.

Maybe the Vikings can get a bit of respect now. Since they were predicted 2 lose 2day.
