That was a great comeback. My hats off to him for that. Everybody is down on him but he isn't backing down.

He showed heart and then he fumbled. Story of the season.

I didn't like the end of the season, Tavaris gave just enough of an excuse for Childress to ignore any opportunity to improve the QB position for a 3rd consecutive year, and the Vikings went on a winning streak to F up the draft position. I can never be unhappy when the win, but after the GB game it was clear they were not a good team and had no prayer in the playoffs

Actually after the GB game is when we became a good team. Childress rallied the troops and everyone played with a chip on their shoulder. After a couple of blowouts, we lost the hunger. If we could have kept that same mentality going into the last couple of games, we'd be playing this weekend.

And Tarvaris not only is our future, he deserves to be. Looking back at the 06 draft, outside of the first round, T-Jack is the best QB. Kellen Clemens, who we would have drafted if the Jets didn't snatch him up, has not impressed me at all this year. Brodie Croyle has been less than stellar as well. And both have better options to pass to. I mean no matter who we get, we need to give them time to develop and learn to live through the growing pains. I mean Jay Cutler, Matt Leinart, and Vince Young still all struggle at times, and at others look great. You have to expect that with a young QB.

It's not all Tavaris' fault. I mean he has to put up with probably the worst receiving core in the league and horrible offensive play-calling.

if the vikings can get some good recievers and get consistency out of the running game, then jackson will be fine as long as he doesn't have to much of a load to carry

Childress doesn't call the plays FYI...Just for any vikes fan who wants to blame Chilldres for something else that's bogus...

AIRNESS...you are totally right we have one of the worst receiving cores in the league...and to top it off our best play-maker was hurt in Sidney Rice...I am prone to blame our late season collapse on the fact that Sidney wasn't playing...
