Well, our needs right now are likely OT, DE, WR and possibly Safety. That being said, I doubt we draft a DE in the early rounds. Going more for FA with the DE spot. I would like to think unless one of the top OT drops we look for a vet there also. That leaves WR and Safety. Our wet dream is for Phillips to drop. Only 1 credible Mock I have seen has that happen (McShays--ironically we pass) but it is early.

For me Phillps is our guy, but Kelly the WR would be #2. Childress has let it be known in the past he does not like WR's with the #1 but I think if Phillips is gone we need to do that.

There have also been plenty of rumors of us trading the pick for a vet WR

Agreed, I'd be happy with any of the top 3 WRs or top 4 DEs.

I do not carry the same "links" in the football world as I do with the basketball world, but the people I talk to say we will not draft a DE unless a top-10 stud falls to us. We are going to try and sign a vet such as Justin Smith or Suggs to add to our DE core. We have a 3 way interest in WR with jackson/Sweed/Kelly but we also have a serious man crush on Kenny Phillips.

There is also a very, very good chance that we move the 2nd for a vet WR.

That is all I know now.

As I said before, any of the WRs would be fine with me. If they don't get a DE with the 1st or 2nd, they better get one in FA.

devery henderson wouldn't be half bad
he wouldn't be a number 1 wr of course
but he wouldn't cost us top dollar to get him i would imagine

The best Draft site I've found is NFLDraftCountdown.com

That being said, we need to address that running back position. Adrian Peterson just isn't cutting it.

I would keep all 3 of them, depth at the Rb is good

None of those free agent WR do anything for me. Lets hope that someone gets cut or that we could float our 2nd rd pick for a vet WR
