Pioneer Press - The Minnesota Vikings are likely to stick with Tavaris Jackson as their quarterback, according to the Pioneer Press.

do you think we still should draft a qb in the later rounds, or sign a free-agent qb as a backup just incase tavaris falters?

except for anderson, who we won't get
that doesn't look like to promising a group

booty or henne would be ok
i saw a mock draft on here that had us taking henne in the 2nd
which i think would be to high for us to take a qb
unless it would motivate tavaris to play better

Josh McCown could be a solid back up.

Looking for a decent backup would be the best option.

McCown would be interesting. Wonder if Viking fans can ever cheer for him.

Sorry if I don't follow college football, but there's a QB coming out named John David Booty? How can a guy with that name fail. If we don't draft him the Bucs definitely should! lol

i woulnt mind gettign John David Booty, but i wouldnt use our second rounder to get him, if he slips in round 3 then i would take a shot at him.

one name to watch out for is QB Josh Johnson of San Diego....he had 41 TD's and only one pick in 2007.
