A decent start so far. This free agency would be a failure if we don't land one of the big two we are targeting (Berrian and Smith). I personally would prefer Smith over Berrian but I would be most happy with both, and happy with either.
My Kobe Bryant website I designed myself: http://personal.stthomas.edu/dnnguyen/kb24.

I found it kind of weird how the past 3 big secondary FA signings have all received similar contracts.

Winfield signed for 6 years and $34.8 million, $10.8 million guaranteed.
Smoot, 6 for $34 million, $11 guaranteed.
Madieu Williams, 6 for $33 million, $13 guaranteed.

Maybe it was his route running:

After taking a closer look on tape at QB Rex Grossman

I'm not too familiar with Tapeh, but Williams fills a big hole for us immediately. The knock on him is that he isn't a big hitter or run stuffer, but he excels in coverage. And as it just so happens, we don't need anymore help in run support and plenty in passing defense. Great signing. Hopefully more to come.

My source that is close with the Vikings says that you guys offered Berrian a fairly large deal and he could sign soon.

As it turns out, Berrian didn't leave. He's still in Minnesota and a deal is supposed to be worked out sometime today.

I'd be okay with getting him, but I still feel we need a legitimate #1 WR. My Larry Fitzgerald pipe dream isn't dead yet since he and the Cards can't seem to work out a deal. And maybe Randy might be interested in coming back to Minny, if the price is right. But, since those aren't gonna happen, LETS GO BERRIAN!!

I wish we'd sign Randy Moss. It would make me so happy.
