Bears @ Vikings Sunday Night- MASSIVE GAME

Post#1 » by hermes » Sat Nov 29, 2008 3:18 pm

Chicago Bears (6-5)
vs
Minnesota Vikings (6-5)

On the Line: first place in the North all by yourself

Last Time: points were scored, big time, Vikings offense put up 41 on the Bears, unfortunately the Vikings special teams gave the Bears two easy scores, and Gus threw 3 picks

Keys:RUN THE BALL, AP or chester every time, and only have Gus throw to chester or berrian if he's wide open, and protect Gus (o-line i'm looking at you)

on defense, stop the run, then get after the qb and get some turnovers

on special teams- don't give them a short field every time, and don't screw it up

GREAT to watch the best player in footbal <MVP> Adrian Peterson. He dominates and punishes tacklers and the d-line put tremendous pressure on Orton all day. Jared Allen took over the game with 3 sacks & the Williams wall manhandled the Bears offensive line leading to 3 interceptions & goal line stand which would have put Chicago ahead 14 to 3. Gus was efficient and solid and now has 6 – 0 record at home. Detroit looks easy but the Williams suspension decision next week makes the rest of the season perilous.

Stuffed 4 time from 1, then a 99 yard shot to Berrian. Freakin' epic.
