Falcons @ Vikings 3pm--For the North

Post#1 » by hermes » Thu Dec 18, 2008 3:14 pm

Win and we are North Champs for the first time since 2000

Pat Williams is out, so Fred Evans needs to step up big time, because the falcons are one of the best running teams in the league

Matt Ryan is a top candidate for ROY, so Allen and company need to get after him, our pass rush seems to be a lot better at home, so thats good

Jackson looks to be the starter again, hopefully he can continue his good play of late

but the key as always AP needs to carry us to the playoffs, so he needs to get the ball
A LOT

if we win we are the NFC North champs for the first time ever. Last time we won the division it was the central i believe.

Ryan won't be able to handle the dome. The crowd should be loud and our D-line is just insane when we are in the dome. Losing Pat Williams won't be that bad unless we get in short yardage situations. Losing K-Will would be much worse. Evans or Robison can replace him for the next two weeks, which is why it is so important to get a bye so Williams will be healthy for our first playoff game.
RIP Jared Jeffries. Gone but never forgotten...2006-2012

something else that came to mind is Jackson at home, he has played great the last two weeks on the road, but now at home, the fans could turn on him after one bad play

i hope he doesn't press and cause mistakes, just go out there and play your game Tavarias (which should be handing the ball off to AP)

wow what a game

freaking turnovers, 7 fumbles or something, lost 4 of them
2 deep in falcon territory, and thats the game

offense was moving up and down the field, defense was stopping them for the most part
just could not hang onto the ball

was that pass interference on rice at the end?

jackson had a great game again, ran the ball extremely well
but he's still a little green in the 2 minute offense, but our offense not being built for that attributes to that as well

lost opportunity, now we have to take care of business next week and root for the packers
