I ran some numbers comparing Adrian Peterson's first two seasons to Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, Jim Brown, and Barry Sanders' first two seasons, just to see if his career start would measure up with some of the greatest running backs ever. But I'll spoil the ending and save you a read. AP fell right in the middle of the pack in pretty much every statistical category—he wasn't in first and he wasn't in last, but he totally belonged in the same conversation with every one of those guys. It's not going to surprise me at all if he takes down the single-season rushing yards record this year. The touchdown record might be tough if Favre has a good season, but I think the yardage record is in the bag.

Idk if he can get the yards. He needs to keep being consistent and each game go for 100+ and not have those 30 yard games. Expecting a big game this monday..
