almost sounds like a back-handed advice, but I hope Cutler listens to Favre on this one re: advice to Cutler:
"I'm not the one to give advice, but I know this: Trying to do too much and take it all on your shoulders has worked for me," Favre said. "So continue to do what you're doing. At times, the better decision would be take a sack, throw it away, whatever. After 19 years, there's been a lot of those what-ifs or should-have-done-this, but the fact is that I'm still here at 19 years. There is no doubt that Jay is a heck of a player. This is a stretch that has been obviously tough on him, but keep shootin' it."
rofl? "trying to do too much has always worked for me, continue doing what you're doing"
I gotta agree Jay, you need to listen to Brett here, he's a hall of famer after all.

Based on the talent and health of the two rosters, we shoulds beat them handily......but you never know in a rivalry game.

beat down. Bears lose because Cutler didn't take Favre's advice and try to do too much. Only 23 pass attempts for Cutler. Its like White Men Can't Jump when Woody tells Simon Phoenix that the wind is picking up at the end of their '5 from the top of the key' showdown and get in his head and makes him miss his final shot. Favre got in Cutler's head and told him he has to take it on his shoulders and instead Cutler tries to get others involved, devious in it's intricacy.

I never expected Cutler to be this bad. I thought he was the best QB in the North before the season. I guess he is hampered by exceptionally mediocre receivers.
