National Football Post - Sources have told the National Football Post that the Patriots are not interested in Michael Vick.

Many felt as though New England would have been a good fit for Vick, but the quarterback reportedly isn't interested in the scheme or the probability of becoming a starter

before that idea comes up again.

It really made little sense from either side. I'm sure Vick doesn't want to just be a gimmick guy and he wants at least a shot down the road to becoming a starting QB. And it sure is not worth the Pats time to have a circus for a guy who may play 3 downs a game.

Is Big Mac coming back??

It would be a nice addition. I'm not so sure he has got that much left in the tank. But with Shawn Crable being compared to Mcginest, it would be nice to see those two fight for that OLB spot. A mentor to crable.

and from the wiretap, it was nice to see Hobbs have some good words for BB, and the pats. Good for him. Not everyone has to be a jackass when they leave.

Not sure what he's got left in the tank, but I'd be all for bringing him in to give him a chance to make the team. One of my favorite Pats of all time.

ESPN's Len Pasquarelli warns not to be surprised if Raiders DE Derrick Burgess is traded to New England before training camp.
There were rumblings that trade talks involving Burgess had died, but the Pats still appear interested after generating just 30 sacks as a team last year. The Raiders reportedly killed the talks during the draft, so we'll see if the Patriots have upped their offer. If Burgess returns to Oakland, he'd collect $3.5 million to be a nickel end behind Greg Ellis and Trevor Scott.

from rotoworld.

Yet another source reporting that this could eventually happen. Which would be very good.
