Another blow to the D. Bodden out for season.

In a blow to the New England Patriots secondary, the team placed starting right cornerback Leigh Bodden on season- ending injured reserve Tuesday.

:(

Maybe McCourty will step up.

Awesome. At least McCourty will get a lot of playing time.

Well the Pats just got very young at corner back. Pretty big blow for the team. But without a pash rush I don't think it really matters who you have at corner.

I really liked Bodden and he will be missed. This is also why Bill drafts the way he does. This is why you move down 3 or 4 spaces for an extra pick because you need players not one guy who may never play a down because of injury but a roster full of a guys who can play.

I don't think playing a bunch of young guys this season is going to translate into a great defense this season but I think it may help make NE a great defense going forward.

A pass rush would be nice though.
