It was huge to get out of that jam. That was a good pitch by Marcum.

I just noticed that the annoying Devil Rays fan is still going to the games. You can really hear him and another fan.

There were actually 2, one guy was really annoying. Saying stuff like "Wildly Overpayed" when Overbay was up and arguing ever strike or ball call.

And Ohka looked extremely mediocre at best, I'm kinda worried. I'm also disappointed in Rios this far, he isn't playing with the fire he was last year, and he doesn't seem to want to walk, he kept chasing bad pitches with 3 balls on him.

Good bounce back win by the Jays. Frasor did a decent job getting himself out of that jam. Its funny that our 2 best relievers so far are starters (Janssen and Marcum).

Good relievers often begin as starters. I think Marcum especially can become an excellent reliever if he regains his walk rate from the minors.

Funny, I think the same applies to good starters. They start off in the bullpens. I think Janssen still has a future as a starter, and if he has a solid year in the bullpen that can do wonders for him and the staff, knowing that if Ohka or Towers suck this season they can throw in Casey for the occasional start. Oh, and Marcum too.

I heard the "Wildly Overpayed" line as well and was surprised to see it was towards Overbay and not Thomas or Wells.

Its because "Ly-al Over-bay" rhymes with "Wide-ly Over-paid"

Last time I checked this is a baseball and MLB board... go talk about the Leafs elsewhere.
