From the Boston Globe:

Tight end David Thomas, who showed promise in his rookie season in 2006, broke his foot this week while participating in the Patriots' offseason program. The injury will affect Thomas's training, although he is expected to make a full recovery. A timetable for his return is not known.

Just a bit of draft geek info on Mike Richardson from his pro day:

Dates: 03/04/07 03/22/07
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 188
40 Yrd Dash: 4.48
20 Yrd Dash: 2.61
10 Yrd Dash: 1.47
225 Lb. Bench Reps: NA
Vertical Jump: 36
Broad Jump: 10'7"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.05 (top 20 of all 2007 draftees)
3-Cone Drill: 6.27 (fastest of all the 2007 draftees)

Just some of my thoughts:

Good size/speed. Recommended by Weis. Played in a big program. Went up against good WRs in practice. Has the tools, maybe they can mold him into something. Seems like a good flyer to take late in the draft.
