I'd prefer to keep Woodhead. As well as to re-sign Talib & Vollmer.

I like Woodhead, but Washington is dynamic in the return game. If Ridley and Vereen can handle the load then it would be an upgrade imo.

Donald Jones is okay. Would rather see them land David Nelson from the bills despite the ACL tear.

Apparently we signed Amendola before Welker signed to the Broncos. From what was said on WEEI, we signed Amendola on Tuesday but waited to announce it until after Welker signed with the Broncos. So I guess Amendola was BB's plan all along.

I feel like if Amendola becomes the next Welker then these guys are all gonna look like geniuses but if he flops and keeps getting injured then a ton of fans will be calling for their heads. All of the injuries really concerns me though.

Amendola has a LOT of pressure on him. Which is expected when you get a large contract but he has to follow in the footsteps of one of the greatest receivers to put on a Patriots uniform.

Yea he's been living under the Welker comparisons before the Pats were even in the picture. If he's not 90% of Welker right off the bat he's gonna get killed. Tough position for sure.

I'll miss Wes, but we gotta also remember that while he was a great receiver here for 6yrs(and will continue to be with Peyton), he wasn't a known commodity until he got here in 07 with Moss. Ill give this new kid a shot, just hope he clicks with Brady quickly, since thats whats important for success in our offense. I'm more interested in the DEFENSIVE side, our offense will still be lethal (just in other ways). The D has killed up in the important games...What do we have lined up for additions there?

You know, I haven't heard anything about us on defense other than that we were one of the teams trying to sign Sean Smith (who signed with the Chiefs).

Most of the news I've heard is about us talking to offensive players.

That guy incarcerated bob is "reporting" that the Pats have offered their 1st, next years 2nd and a conditional pick for Revis. The guy seems full of **** but its fun to think about.

Incarcerated Bob is wrong on 98% of things he tweets about.

And I highly doubt the Jets trade their best player to their biggest division rival.

No chance in hell with Rex Ryan at the helm. That guy hates the pats more than anyone.

Good!

Offense is set unless you're going big time here (Cruz), so lets get that D straightened out with some vets.

Adrian Wilson to visit pats.

I like it. He was third on my list after Reed and Woodson.

I hope they get Abraham. He already visited the 49ers and Seattle and I would hate to see another monster go to the 49ers. :nonono:

Get both John Abraham and Adrian Wilson, that would definitely help the defense...  These guys are **** good man, both of them..
Good assessment:

I really want Abraham, he's a very good pash rusher that they need. I'm sure Jones only improves with that signing as well.

As for Wilson he would be a nice fit as well, not as much as a need as a pass rushing DE, but I'll take it for sure.

After that need 2 corners and some line help, of course some of that can come from the draft too.
