He's been traded to the Broncos, along with a 6th rounder, for their 4th rounder.

Heyyyy memba that touchdown he had in the 07 superbowl? Alright....

We could have had DeAngelo Williams. Or Marcus McNeil. Or Nick Mangold. Or Maurice Jones Drew. :sigh:

Deangalo Williams is the toughest to swallow. I remember the pats being interested in him, so when our pick came around I thought for sure he was ours. But then we went with kool-aid. :(

Maroney was comparable to Steven Jackson in that draft. It just never panned out. I've always been down on Maroney as a player but I'll wish him luck in Denver.

They were VERY interested in him but a certain GM at the time thought his legs were too skinny to handle the pounding of the NFL. Oh the irony...
