Pats @ Jets. Super Bowl Champion versus Wing Eating Champion

Regular Season Record: 1-0

New England Patriots @ New York Jets
Sunday September 19th 2010. 4:15 PM.
TV: CBS. Radio: 98.5 Sports Hub

Well, I've been waiting for this since the first episode of Hard Knocks. I always knew Rex Ryan was a cocky prick, but WOW, this dude needs to be brought back to reality. Did anyone see the epsiode where he was talking trash to DeAngelo Hall? Lol, what coach does that? A nice butt whooping of his team would be nice.

They lost their big d-tackle this week, so that's a blow to their defense. If both teams play the way they played last week I see the pats winning by two scores.

Key Match-Up:
Moss vs Revis. I'm sure this ones been brewing for awhile, but things got real heated when ESPN anchor, Hannah Storm reminded Randy Moss that Revis called Randy a "slouch." Revis stood by those comments recently. This should be a real fun match.

Go Pats!

I very seldom root for outcomes other than Lions wins but I will be screaming hard for Belichick & Co. in this one. How crazy must it be that most of America will be openly rooting for New England 8-)
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Lets hope for a blowout. I would love to see Sanchez cry.

Nothing would make me more satisfied than watching the Jets get destroyed and mayhem sets in with them startin 0-2.

The New England Patriots are planning to sign former New York Jets running back Danny Woodhead to their 53-man roster by Saturday's 4 p.m. deadline, a league source confirmed.

Woodhead, a third-year player out of Chadron State, was waived by the Jets on Tuesday. He had played in the Jets' season opener against the Ravens, registering one special-teams tackle.

The Patriots had an open roster spot after trading running back Laurence Maroney to the Denver Broncos on Tuesday. Signing Woodhead would fill the vacant fifth running back spot the day before the Patriots play the Jets at New Meadowlands Stadium.

The Boston Herald first reported the Patriots' intention to sign Woodhead.

Payback for O'connell. Hopefully he's a smart guy who learned a lot in NY, that he can share

I cant believe Stephen (can't spell the last name) missed that kick. 1-4 on the season now.

I'm not worried yet about Gostkowski, but yeah that hurt. Delay of game really killed us.

More halftime thoughts:
-Too close for comfort. Maybe I just under-rated sanchez. I thought our D would hold up better against him.
-That moss catch was amazing. He made it look so easy.
-Our pass rush is still doing much better than expected though. Good to see.

Stop them coming out of the half, put up another long touchdown drive and we'll be good. No more stupid penalties.

:sigh:

I don't even want to recap this. But I keep going over and over in my head how it went down. It'd be much easier to take if all of New England, including I were not so damn confident about this.

Got to show up for the second half. Offense was a complete joke.

The defense made Sanchez look good and that's a hard thing to do. Butler give me a break already.
