Pats are going to eat up on the Lions in a big brown shoe

Patriots (8-2) @ Lions (2-8) THANKGIVING DAY 12:30 PM

Pats have a short week ahead of them against a team Bellichick admits he knows nothing about. Same could be said for the Lions though. With such a short week, and on the national stage, I havea feeling this is a game the Patriots shouldn't and won't look past. No let downs like in Cleveland.

Another worry is that with Jahvid Best really banged up Shaun Hill and the Lions will go to the air early and often, testing this Pats defense that has surrendered a lot of yards. I think they will be able to put up some points. But I think our offense will have our way with them. Slight chance that maybe Freddy Taylor comes back.

My prediction

Patriots 33
Lions 21

White meat, dark meat
You just can't lose
Big Ben fell off his moped
And he got a bruise
Lions in the oven
And the Jets in the toaster
I'll never take down
My Tom Brady poster
Wrap the Lions up
In aluminum foil
Peyton's brother likes to masturbate
With baby oil

Right, quick week. Only 44 or so more hours till game time. Nice write-up, I like the poem

Look forward to this one. Thanksgiving dinner and Patriots football is the perfect combination. I don't think I'll be as upset as I was after the browns game, if Detroit shocks us. They got a good offense, tough to guard receivers, and a helluva good defensive tackle in Suh.

I still expect a win though, maybe 38-28.

Go Pats!!!

It ain't no poem, it's my very own adapted Patriots version of the Thanksgiving song by Adam Sandler. Vintage 90s.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone

Brady's listed as questionable, and some think he might not play. :(

I don't see this team winning against Detroit with Hoyer.

I'm 9-1 in fantasy and have secured a first round bye. My team is pretty stacked and I decided to start Brian Hoyer at QB mostly as a joke... kinda funny cause projected points I'm still ahead. Would be hilarious if Hoyer actually played and factored into the decision.

Then again, I SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY doubt Brady won't play.

Struggled in the first half, great second half, good, solid win.

-Tom Brady was great, as he has been the past couple games.
-BJGE continues to run hard.
-Very nice to see branch and welker have two td's a piece.
-Devin McCourty is a **** stud.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

Sure was a slow start, but took over the game very nicely in the second half. If the Pats can find a second corner that pass defense will greatly improve.

I think it's mostly the linebackers who are at fault in the defense. Spikes has looked lost out their all season and none of our OLBs can tackle worth a damn. Our defensive ends are pretty weak as well. Hate to say it but I think the team misses Richard Seymour.

Anyways, abotu today, great win. Brady had a prefect passer rating for only the second time in his career. Just amazing balance on the ball too. Didn't really run the ball a lot cause we were behind but winning 35-7 in second half is pretty phenomenal. Onto the Jets... hopefully we can snatch the division lead away from them (if they don't falter tonight)
