Well, after an amazing regular season going 14-2 and clinching home-field, bye, division, yada yada yada, it's time for the Pats to get down to business.
Patriots will play the lowest seed of these 4 teams
-Indianapolis Colts (3)
-Kansas City Chiefs (4)
-Baltimore Ravens (5)
-NY Jets (6)
SATURDAY, JAN. 8
No. 6 New York Jets (11-5) at No. 3 Indianapolis Colts (10-6)
Lucas Oil Stadium, 8 p.m. ET, NBC
SUNDAY, JAN. 9
No. 5 Baltimore Ravens (12-4) at No. 4 Kansas City Chiefs (10-6)
Arrowhead Stadium, 1 p.m. ET, CBS
It looks like we are deemed to play Baltimore. I don't see sexay rexay and the crew going into the Indy Dome and winning. KC could win though, they are a tough beat at home. I don't know how happy I am about the way things could pan out. Personally I'd love to see the Jets take advantage of a late manning turnover, and send them to a date against us for the rubber game.
So who do you guys want to face in the first round?
---------
As for the NFC for those who will be following
SATURDAY, JAN. 8
No. 5 New Orleans Saints (11-5) at No. 4 Seattle Seahawks (7-9)
Qwest Field, 4:30 p.m. ET, NBC
SUNDAY, JAN. 9
No. 6 Green Bay Packers (10-6) at No. 3 Philadelphia Eagles (10-6)
Lincoln Financial Field, 4:30 p.m. ET, FOX
I'm seeing Green Bay upset a backstepping , while the Saints will steamroll Seattle.
