ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL

Image

New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins.
Monday September 12th. 7:00 PM.
TV: ESPN. Radio: 98.5 Sports Hub.

A monday night party! lets get it kick starrrrrrrrrrrttttttteeeeeedddddddddddddd! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

oh, sorry. Man am I excited for the start of this season. Dare I say, more than usual? Maybe it's the new additions, maybe it was the lockout, or maybe as each year goes on I just get more and more obsessed with the game. Well, we get the first MNF football game of the year, and it's against the dolphins, I'm fine with that. I expect another blowout just like last year on monday night football. Lots of talk, thinking the dolphins can upset the patriots here because of Brian Deibol and what his browns offense did to the pats last season. Bleh, I don't know, I think this phins team is crap. They'll come out strong, but hopefully the patriots will put them away by midway through the third.

Go Pats!!!!!!

Vollmer, Cunningham and Taylor Price among others who are out.

Vollmer's a tough one to have out. But still optimistic about the game, can't wait to see Ocho Cinco, Haynesworth and Ellis debut.

Looks like Koppen **** up his leg pretty bad.

Man that hurts. I **** hate injuries. It's not even the fact that Connolly is in, I have faith in him at center for this team, but I just feel for koppen.

That Brian Waters signing, and Nate Solder doing pretty well is a plus at least.

Did something happen to Green-Ellis? I can't watch the game, I just see Woodhead with all the carries.

Woo! Fun win. Could improve on some things in defense still, but offense looked sharp as they've ever been.

The good:
- Welker and Branch look like they haven't missed a beat
- Gronkowski and Hernandez looked like they've gotten better :o . That catch from Hernandez near the sideline was incredible.
-Matthew Slater! Alright man, finally. That was a great trick, they put him wide and everyone probably wondered who he was, then he sprinted down the field for a huge pass gain. Great catch too. I'd like to see more of that from Slater.
-Pass rush was good I feel. 4 sacks and 10 QB hits, they really showed a change from last season.
-Goal line D for the most part was pretty good. Backs ain't going to be able to go through haynesworth and wilfork at that goaline, and then their forced to QB draws and screens (which worked), or through a fade and as tonight showed, that didn't work. Dowling and McCourty were all over the fades.

The meh:
-Gave up way too many yards. It felt like every 2 plays the defense would take a breather and then henne would sling it in there to fasano or bess who always kick our butts, and they'd get a big gain.
-Chad OchoCinco really didn't get much PT. I woulda liked to see him on those goal-line situations as the receiver out there while the pats are in I-Formation. Then try and fade it to him once, get his confidence up. But he seemed to be in good spirits.

The ugly:
-Dan Koppen broke his ankle. He'll be done for the year, if a thread isn't up on it, I'll make one when it's official and state my thoughts. IMO, it's not a killer blow, it just sucks.

but I'm not going to end this crappy recap on a sour note, THE HOLY WOWOWOWOWOWOWOOWOWOW

Tom **** Brady. 516 yards, 4 td's and one interception that was pure luck on Jarrid Odrick's part. But man, I'm going to slobber over his balls more than Jon Gruden, that was **** awesome. What a performance.

It was a better match=up for woodhead this game.

Fantasy owner, right? Green-Ellis will get his at times, but right now it looks like it will be whoever has the best match-up gets the workload.

Dolphins fan here... Pats looked awesome tonight on offense. Chad Henne played with heart but you guys have the best team in the AFC. Good luck see you in New England Christmas time.

Thanks. Good game to you guys too. I don't think the pats fans expected that much fight from you guys. Y'all could cause some havoc in the east this year.

Watching Brady was liking watching old footage of Montana at his peak, like it was history in the making.
