Pats vs Steelers. The two bests in the AFC go at it.

Post#1 » by Celtics_Champs » Sun Oct 30, 2011 4:12 am

Regular Season Record: 5-1

Image

New England Patriots @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Sunday October 30th, 2011. 4:15 PM.
TV: CBS. Radio: 98.5 Sports Hub.

The picture and title say it all. First, these are the two best teams in the AFC. Hopefully a AFC championship preview. Second, Gronkowski had his best game against these guys last season, and now he's been in hot water this week for his picture with Bibi Jones. Maybe he'll show everyone that his mind is only on football and have another great game.

I think we got them. Patriots have had their number for awhile now. Brady should have a great game like usual. Let's see what the defense can do against Big Ben and his weapons.

Go Pats!!!

This will be a hard fought game, but I think we will win this one. All week I've been reading the majority of these "experts" picking the steelers to win this one. I just don't see it. if our defense plays like it did against Dallas, then no way.

And so far they aren't. Miller is wide open almost every **** play. And when I say wide open I mean no one within 10 feet of him.

That was a nice stop there though. Too bad they were in FG range.

Well. Does anyone have anything good to say?

Ok. Good thing that Ben just got sacked and intercepted then

This game was awful until about 2 minutes ago.

You can tell that Ben is hurting. That leg has him straining to focus. Not complaining personally, I just hope we can get back in this thing and stop them again.

Nope.

Not really. I mean, that was a big time kick by Gostko. And at least we get the ball at half. But ****, this has been a tough one.

At least they're only down by 7. By the way it's going they could be up by much more.

NE is making almost every mistake that they can defensively in this game. Not even close to how they looked 2 weeks ago. At least it is only a one TD game. Could be a lot worse.

Yea they're not being very gracious with the spots they're getting. Usually end up being shorter

Hate to be that guy, but no way they get this done.

Defense can't stop the run. They can't stop the tight end. And they can't stop the receivers.

And Brady and the O can't do anything.

I would have been that guy anyway. Just being a realist, because this game isn't going anywhere in the right direction.

and we cut Leigh Bodden for what? So Antwaun Molden could play 10 yards off where the Steelers WR catches it.

I heard it was because he kept getting injured? Not 100% sure though.
But yea the defense against the passing game is almost non-existant.

Time of possession too, the Steelers are playing the patriots game on offense.
