Ot- Its not fair that New York has 9 pro teams

I don't think that its fair to every other city because each time they talk titles they pool all the new york teams together. If any other city had 9 teams they'd have even more titles too.

New York is big, populated, has has a lot of fans. It is working out fine. If one of those teams was not in New York, where will they be? Example, New Jersey Nets... Horrible support, they had to move to NY. Even New Jersey was not enough for them.
Just saying...
Let's not forget that New York is not only team with many pro teams. You still have California and Florida.
Well, personally, I account each New York team separately. "I say New York GIants won this many Super Bowls", not "New York won this many Super Bowls".

Not everyone is like you though. Sportscenter for instance was talking about how New York has won 2 or 3 titles in the past decade compared to Boston's 7. Its unfair because how many teams and chances they have at a title.

If that makes them feel better then so be it. Last I knew Boston just completed a decade of dominance. And they only have one shot at it each year

I think it's understandable. New York is a big state. Its not just NYC, you have other places too.

I've always found this funny. When you think about it Boston fans are for the most part in Maine, NH, Vermont, Mass, Rhode Island and I'd say half of Connecticut. That's only 12.6 million people and half of those are from Mass
And yea SportsCenter is a joke. Only reason I watch it is for the not top 10/top ten.

Would you guys rather have all the New York teams merge into a super team? I think not, so you better be happy with the way things are now.
