http://www.csnne.com/blog/patriots-talk ... estigationPatriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been contacted by police investigating a possible homicide in North Attleboro, where he lives.
SI.com reports that Hernandez is not believed to be a murder suspect, but a vehicle rented in his name, with Rhode Island license plates, is a key piece in the investigation of the death of a 27-year-old Boston man whose body was found Monday in an industrial park not far from Hernandez' home. According to ABC News, Hernandez "has been uncooperative with police".
ABC described the victim as an "associate" of Hernandez.
There was a significant amount of activity outside Hernandez' North Attleboro home Tuesday afternoon, with two police cars parked in front. All local media outlets were also on site.
When a call was placed to the North Attleboro police department on Tuesday afternoon, the dispatcher asked what it was in regard to. When told it was "Aaron Hernandez", he immediately replied: "That's being handled by the Bristol County District Attorney's Office."
The Patriots are aware of the situation.

I'm not saying he actually did it but when you add up all of these little things together they certainly don't go in his favor. Rental car in his name, hiring a cleaning crew, uncooperative with polic, other stories coming out, destroying surveillance video.
So much for hoping he didn't do anything stupid

Yeah. It really sounds like the guy was murdered inside his home. It might be code not to talk to police but he's not going to be able to get out of this one. To quote ABC:
Police plan to go back to the home of New England Patriot's tight end Aaron Hernandez today with another warrant based on evidence that "he destroyed his home security system,'' an investigator close to the case told ABC News.
The investigator, and other law enforcement sources, confirmed that the security system - which included video surveillance - was smashed intentionally.
And a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators "in pieces'' by his attorneys, the sources said.
Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's mansion, sources told ABC News.
The revelations come as multiple sources tell ABC News that the star NFL player has not been ruled out as a suspect in the murder of a semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, 27, who was Hernandez's friend.
http://abcnews.go.com/US/aaron-hernande ... cNVitI3vnhAnd of course, this lends potential credibility to the claims he shot an acquaintance in Florida months back.
He has gotta be done as a Patriot, regardless. And probably as an NFL player for that matter. Or not, he could simply be guilty by association and he could simply have made stupid decisions in panic. Done as a Patriot, though, for now.

I guess we can hold out hope that:
a.) He lent his house to a friend for the weekend.
b.) His friends tried to cover up whatever happened because they wanted to hide it from him.
c.) He is secretly cooperating with police but police are secretly cooperating with him to prevent him from being killed as a result of the "snitch" label.
But that is probably not the case. And ending up in this situation to begin with is good reason to cut him.

And it gets worse.
Sources also said Hernandez and Lloyd were at a Boston nightclub over the weekend. Police have been reviewing surveillance video from the club.

Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, whose sprawling North Attleboro home is part of a homicide probe, was booted from Gillette Stadium yesterday when he showed up for a workout as cops continued to hunt for clues in the death of a Dorchester man, according to a source close to the team.
Hernandez, 23, was allowed in the building, but staff was waiting for him and instructed him to leave, the source told the Herald.

Purportedly, neighbors heard "gunshots," and the guy's body was "riddled" with bullets, so an accidental shooting seems out of the question.
Sorry I am too lazy to find and link to sources.

http://www.boston.com/metrodesk/2013/06 ... story.htmlMcCauley said Hernandez summoned his two friends, then drove to Fayston Street in Boston’s Dorchester section early on the morning of Monday, June 17, where Lloyd, a 27-year-old semipro football player, left his home, got in the car, and then rode south to North Attleborough.
Along the way, Lloyd alerted relatives in a text message, asking them, “Did you see who I am with?” After they asked who, he replied cryptically, “NFL,” the prosecutor said.
“Just so you know,’’ Lloyd added. It was the last text message he sent before he died, McCauley said.
Surveillance cameras in the North Attleborough industrial park where Lloyd was murdered captured the men arriving in the same silver Nissan that Lloyd had gotten into in Dorchester, the prosecutor said.
Once near a wooded area, Lloyd started climbing out of the car, and was shot once, which knocked him to the ground. As he lay there, he raised his arm and was shot multiple times. Five spent .45-caliber spent shell casings were later recovered, McCauley said.
When Hernandez returned home around 3:30 a.m. Monday, surveillance video at his house showed him walking through his house holding a pistol in his hand, the prosecutor said.
