Now that Aaron Hernandez is gone, What about Tim Tebow!?!?

Post#1 » by MLBFan2325 » Mon Jul 1, 2013 11:38 pm

Im sure youve heard about Aaron Hernandez being arrested and charged with first degree murder of Odin Lloyd unless youve been living under a rock for the last few weeks! Its all ESPN wants to talk about!

With Hernandez in jail and GRONK injured, what does this mean for Tom Brady and the Patriots!?!?!?

IT MUST BE TEBOW TIME!!!!!!

Check out the video below and let me know your thoughts in the comment section of the video about all things Patriots and Tebow! How will he be utilized? Will he play TE? Will he be a punt protector?

Let me know your thoughts!!!

Tim Tebow unlikely to take snaps at tight end for Patriots
Tebow has heard opinions that he may be better suited for tight end throughout his NFL career, especially in the last year during which he was largely ignored on the bench of the New York Jets. At 6'3, 245 pounds, he has the frame and athleticism to potentially excel at the position. Tebow has yet to prove he has the blocking and receiving ability necessary for the position, however, and he has consistently maintained that he wants to play quarterback.

The Patriots also have other options they can plug in at tight end. The depth chart is deep, with Jake Ballard, Michael Hoomanawanui and Daniel Fells all having significant experience. Even if Tebow makes a full-time switch to tight end, he may still have trouble seeing the field. Asking him to be the team's third-string quarterback at the same time may simply be too much to ask.

I, for one, would love to have him as both options: A 3rd String (left-handed) QB, and a Backup TE, as well. Edelman made his own switch. Tebow might be able to do it also.

The Pats might as well see what Tebow can bring to the team. If he can help you catching the ball then use him there, if not at least they tried.
