He's unhappy in Tennessee. Sent a goodbye tweet basically saying that this is his last season with the organization.

I'm assuming if the titans start losing he will be expandable. Should the patriots go after the troubled WR?

I say do it if the price is right and here's my reasons why. The only negative in my book is that he doesn't gel like Ochocinco didn't.

I don't consider the arrests and troubled background a negative. We can't compare everyone to Hernandez. He's got to be a good boy for the rest of the season to get his contract. It worked for Talib, he's been almost perfect so far knock on wood.

Would you guys do it? This doesn't mean we're giving up on the rookies. Just helping out and keeping us a contender.

I would but I really can't see them going after him. He's been arrested NINE times in ~4 years. I hope I'm wrong and that they do though, because it seems like they wouldn't have to give up much to get him. The Titans don't want him and he doesn't want the Titans.

Ochocinco was a good guy who was simply immature - and was also older and coming down from his prime when we signed him. I don't think he is a good comparison

Aqib Talib's problems have all stemmed from a hot temper. All his emotion can be used in his favor on the football field and he should be approaching his prime, more mature now. I think he was an especially good fit because in college he was a key part of an underrated Kansas team that reminded me of the '01-02 Pats in respects.

Kenny Britt was once accused of fleeing police. And it seems h may hang with the wrong crowd. Injury prone too - more evidence of disciplinary issues. I think he is definitely higher risk than Talib & Ochocinco were - but he may be higher reward as well (he is definitely higher reward than Ochocinco). I'd give him a go if the price was right.

But I'll also add that I don't think we need WRs as badly as it seems. Past few seasons Brady has gotten to a point where on some level he was using Welker/Gronk/etc as crutches, and got away from old habits. It's tough to argue with his numbers but he was occasionally un-Brady like when stakes were at their highest. I feel like the early WR trouble this season has been the best thing to happen to Brady in years, and the team is looking good.

I would stay away from a guy like Britt, I'm just not sure he'll ever get it to be honest. It's really too bad cause the guy is quite talented.

The Pats did make a move today bringing in Austin Collie. While his injury list is very long for a few weeks it's not a bad guy to bring in while other Pats receivers are on the mend.

Yeah, I'm happy with the core now. Kenbrell looks a lot better, and there's almost no stopping edelman. add that to collie/dobson/amendola all coming back, in addition to the big fella, and we're good. Honestly, I love this team so much right now that they have a great defense to go along with the offense, I'd go put money on them for the Super Bowl, but the Wilfork injury scares me.
